Baseball Settings

While in a baseball game, press the GAME SETUP key to modify the following game settings:

Defaults

  1. Game Time = 00:90 (hours:minutes)

  2. Balls = 4

  3. Strikes = 3

  4. Outs = 3

  5. Line Score = NO

  6. Auto Pitch Count = NO

  7. Clock Function = TIMER

  8. Timer Mode = HH:MM

  9. Use Lineup = NO

Adjust game settings from the Game Setup menu as described in Change Game Settings.

Turn on Line Score

Line Score display on the console and scoreboard is off until enabled. To enable line score display, adjust the setting 5. Line Score to YES. This will send the line score data to the scoreboard and change the score edit mode on the console to line-score style edit.

Extra inning scoring will be displayed in the final inning of the line-score baseball board. On the console, any scoring beyond the 10th inning will be displayed in the 10th inning of the line-score edit.

Auto Pitch Count

If set to NO, only the Pitch count +1 key will increment the pitch counter. When Auto Pitch Count is set to YES, pressing Ball and Strike keys will also increment the pitch counter for the team in the field.

Display Time-of-Day

To display the time-of-day in the timer field, there are two options:

  1. Press the Time of Day key on the keyboard to change between time of day clock and timer.

  2. Change the 7. Clock Function game setting to CLOCK to show time of day until next change.

Blank Timer

To blank the timer field, change the 7. Clock Function game setting to OFF to blank the timer field. Once this is set the Time of Day key will toggle the scoreboard timer field between blank and showing the timer value.

Timer Mode

Use this setting to change the mode of the clock between displaying hours:minutes or minutes:seconds. Select 8. Timer Mode game setting and press the SELECT YES/NO key to toggle between HH:MM and MM:SS.

Use Lineup

Enable batting order lineups to automatically advance and display the player number At-Bat by configuring the 9. Use Lineup = YES game setting. Use Next Batter and Next Half Inning keys to automatically advance the players in the lineup and switch team at-bat.
